Network & Infrastructure

This document is intended to inform the specifications and define the network and power prerequisites to ensure the proper functioning of Skedway SK8 and Skedway Toutchspace equipment, etc.

Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of the customer or contractor to provide the network/internet and the necessary energy in accordance with the specifications of each equipment described in this document.

Any problem related to the network is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Skedway Ecosystem

The equipment(s) of the Skedway family are totally dependent on internet access to update and synchronize data with the Amazon server. Even if some devices can temporarily operate offline, at some point they need internet access. Without this feature, device(s) will start to have outdated data relative to others.

Equipments

Skedway SK8

Used for Room Display, Check-in Display, Access Control applications

  • Connection type: Only Wi-Fi

  • Supported Wi-Fi frequencies: 2.4 GHZ e 5.0 GHZ.

  • Network protocol version: IPV4

  • IP type: Dynamic or fixed

  • SSID visibility: Visible or hidden.

Wireless network (Wi-Fi) compatible with the above specifications. If the provided network has some type of block, the client will be informed of the connection ports that must be released.

  • Energy: 5V - 3A

Important: Wi-Fi network must not have Captive portal authentication (authentication via Browser/Web).

TouchSpace - PC

Specifications

Used for Maxboard aplication.

  • Connection type: Ethernet cable and Wi-Fi

  • Supported Wi-Fi frequencies: 2.4 GHZ e 5GHZ* *Support 5ghz frequency depends on hardware specifications

  • Network protocol version: IPV4/IPV6

  • IP type: Dynamic or fixed

    • Fixed IP: It is the responsibility of the customer to inform in advance the IP(s) of the network. If necessary, Apek will inform the MAC Address(es) of the equipment(s).

  • SSID visibility: Visible or hidden.

    • Hidden Network case: The customer must previously inform the network SSID and - password.

PS: It is ideal that the Hidden Network and Fixed IP configurations are made before the equipment leaves the Apek factory, avoiding the assistance of a technician on site to carry out these configurations.

Wireless network (Wi-Fi) compatible with the above specifications. If the provided network has some type of block, the client will be informed of the connection ports that must be released.

  • Energy: 100 - 240V

TouchSpace - Tinker

Specifications

Used for Maxboard

  • Connection type: Ethernet cable and Wi-Fi

  • Supported Wi-Fi frequencies: 2.4 GHZ.

  • Network protocol version: IPV4

  • IP type: Dynamic or fixed

  • SSID visibility: Visible or occult.

Wireless network (Wi-Fi) compatible with the above specifications. If the provided network has some type of block, the client will be informed of the connection ports that must be released.

  • Energy: 110V - 220V AC

Important: Wi-Fi network must not have Captive portal authentication (authentication via Browser/Web)
